Tasting Room
Walk-ins and reservations welcome! Reservations are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED on Saturdays. NO one under age 21 is ALLOWED on the premises. This includes babies and toddlers. Dogs allowed ONLY on the patio. The 290 Wine Castle is made up of the Dungeon, the main tasting room, the covered patio deck, the second floor balcony lounge and the Rooftop (members only)! In the first floor tasting room & the second floor balcony lounge, there are two private circular turret tasting rooms. The Dungeon houses two Dungeon Experience Rooms & two private wine cellars. The Rooftop Experience (Members Only) seats you in one of three private turret rooms that steps onto the roof with 360 views of the hill country.
Bartop Tastings - $25/person
This is available for 1 to 5 people. 5 wine samples from our red, white, sweet or sparkling wine tastings. RESERVE HERE
MUST RESERVE IN ADVANCE Private Group Tasting - $30/person
For groups of 6 to 12 we offer private tastings in our castle turrets. You will choose 5 wine samples from the very best of our castle wines. Pizzas and charcuterie boards are available for purchase. *Pizzas available Friday to Sunday.* RESERVE HERE
MUST RESERVE IN ADVANCE The Dungeon Chocolate & Wine Pairing Experience - $55/person
The dungeon tasting will take you downstairs into a private dimly lit cellar where you will use your senses of taste and smell while trying five wines paired with five artisan chocolates and two Texas cheeses. This private tasting experience is approximately one hour long and is for groups of 2 to 20. *Please note: this tasting includes red and white wines with chocolates/cheeses that contain dairy.
